[Conference] CODATU XVI: Draft Programme is available online !

February the 2nd to the 5th – Istanbul, Turkey

The CODATU XVI Conference, organized by CODATU in association with the İstanbul Teknik Üniversitesi (İTÜ), will take place in Istanbul from the 2nd to the 5th of February 2015. It will treat the subject “Energy, climate and air quality challenges: the role of urban transport policies in developing countries and emerging economies”. Debates and presentations will turn around the issue of urban transport and climate change, making the conference a milestone of the way to COP21 in Paris (December 2015).

[Seminar] Governance and Sustainable Funding for Urban Public Transport in Morocco

November the 4th, 2014 in Rabat, Morocco

The Moroccan Association of Community Councils Presidents (AMPCC), in partnership with the Moroccan network of Public Transport (REMATP) and CODATU organize one day of discussions around the theme of the governance and sustainable funding for urban public transportation, on November the 4th 2014 in Rabat. This meeting aims to remain the National Days of Public Transport which were organized on the 23rd and 24th of September 2013 by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the Marseille Center for Mediterranean Integration, The French Agency for Development and CODATU.

[Seminar] CMI – Urban mobility in Mediterranean cities: feedback and perspectives

From November the 12th to the 14th, 2014, in Izmir, Turkey

The programme « Sustainable Urban Transport » of the Marseille Centre for Mediterranean Integration (CMI), coordinated and funded by the French Agency for Development (AFD), that delegated the implementation to CODATU, started in 2010. This fifth regional seminar will favor the presentation of good-practices and lessons-learned and discussion concerning problems and barriers faced by local decision-makers and experts dealing with daily management of mobility, development of public transport systems and implementation of urban sustainable mobility.

[Publication] Tribute-book about Jean-Claude Ziv
