[Event] Workshop "HABITAT III : The accessibility we need"

CODATU and CNAM are organizing a one-day seminar to promote exchanges between experts towards Habitat III and the New Urban Agenda preparation process with the aim of advancing discussions around the urban mobility role in building local responses to global development challenges. The findings of the thematic WGs will serve as input to the message that is currently being prepared by the Permanent Scientific and Technical Committee (PSTC) of CODATU to Habitat III.

This year, CODATU is a partner of the STA Award. The award is given each year to a city that has implemented innovative transport strategies in the preceding year. These strategies should improve mobility for all residents, reduce transportation greenhouse and air pollution emissions, and enhance safety and access for bicyclists and pedestrians.
[Report] Report of the one-day seminar on Paratransit and Urban Mobilities

[Report] CGLU-Mewa - Second meeting of the Urban Mobility Committee

CODATU, as observer member of the "Urban Mobility Committee" of CGLU-MEWA network, actively participated to the second committee in Amman (Jordan) where Habitat III and MobiliseYourCity were discussed; the latest one being considered as a flagship initiative by the committee.
[News] CODATU Technical Cooperation in Tunisia - Main findings of the first workshop

Within the framework of a Technical Cooperation managed by CODATU, and recently signed between the French Agency for Development and the Tunisian Transport Ministry, CODATU organized its first workshop this march, and focused on "How to combine strategic planning and emergency management in the field of Urban Transport".
[News] CODATU coordinates the organization of "Car-free Sundays" in Kochi (India)

Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL) and CODATU, with the support of WRI India, are starting "Raahgiri Days" in Kochi, in order to promote non-motorized transport in the city of Kochi and make the citizens "own their streets". Various activities will be proposed, such as cycling, football, zumba, kite flying, painting, live caricature show...).
