[News] Proceedings of CODATU XVI Conference now available!

Further to the Sixteenth International Conference of Urban Transport (CODATU XVI), co-organized with the Istanbul Technical University (ITÜ) from the 2nd to 5th of February 2015 in Istanbul (Turkey), the Proceedings are now available. It contains all the research papers and case studies presented during the conference. The papers presented during the previous conferences are also available on CODATU's website.

[Event] CODATU at the Climate Chance Summit

26-28 September 2016, Nantes (France)

Following the success of the World Summit Climate and Territories (Lyon, July 15), CODATU will once again lead the Transport and Mobility Forum organized within the framework of the Climate Chance Summit. This summit aims to become a regular event to all non-state actors involved in the fight against climate change.

[News] CODATU starts a Technical Cooperation in Peru

February 2016, Lima (Peru)

In February 2016, CODATU, the French Agency for Development (AFD), the CEREMA and the Transport and Communication Ministry (TCM) of Peru have signed an agreement to support the Peruvian TCM in the implementation of urban mobility projects and in the improvement of the public transport network in Lima and in the major cities of the country. An exploratory mission was conducted in April 2016.

[News] Review of the car-free sunday in Kochi (India)

1st of May 2016, Kochi (India)

Kochi Metro Rail Limited (KMRL) and CODATU, with the support of WRI India, organized a car-free sunday on May 1st. The road was blocked to traffic for 4hours, early morning, and various activities were organized on the street, such as cycling, zumba, yoga, painting, kite flying, football, road safety awareness campaign... It has been a great success and has contributed in spreading awareness among the citizens of Kochi.

CODATU is now a partner of the "Fabrique des Mobilités", a european acceleration program dedicated to transportation and mobility projects. The FabMob brings together all players and projects, capitalizes on lessons learnt and feedback with a view to see a common culture of innovation in action emerge.
